...During 2006 we were working hard, preparing the new Christmas show. Due to the high for ticketsa, we decided to make two performances in one day. On the 9th of December not only the old variete admirers came to Salme cultural center, but also a lot of young people. We are glad about that fact, because we think that real art should be accepted and understood to people of any age.

On 28th of Aprill, 2007, an outstanding event took place in Tallinn City Hall: Viru Varietee celebrated its 35th anniversary. This anniversary concert supervised by Ants Vähejaus and Irina Kruglova testified to the high level of excellence of the Viru Varietee artists. The audience burst into applause after each stage entry. The programme comprised famous items of the past years and modern stage directions as well.
The most valuable praise for the artists and organisers of this concert was a great ovation of the audience, who did not let the artists go.

It is notable that after this anniversary concert one of the premium-class hotels in Tallinn, Meriton Grand Hotel Tallinn made a proposal to arrange regular Viru Varietee performances at its restaurant. The shows made during the season autumn 2007 - spring 2008 were a real success and demonstrated the popularity of this project.
